Summer 2026
Here are the programs we are offering for rising 6th graders through college rowers.
Youth Summer 2026 Registration. Click Here!While school is in session, practices will take place in the afternoon. We then move to morning sessions in the second half of June through the summer.
New to the sport? This program is a great way for your athlete (rising 6th graders and above) to try out the great sport of rowing. Summer is the best time to be on the water, and a great time to give rowing a try! Our experienced coaching team will teach your athlete the basics of the sport, and within one session, they will be ready to join a developmental program later this Summer or this Fall!
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. We’ll teach you.
Session 1: May 26th – June 5th…Mondays – Fridays (4 – 6:30pm)
Session 2: June 8th – June 19th – Practice Times split to accomodate school schedules: June 8th – June 12th: 4 – 6:30pm / June 15th – June 19th 8:30 – 11am
Session 3: June 22nd – July 3rd…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)
Session 4: July 6th – July 17th…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)
Session 5: July 20th – July 31st…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)
Summer Development Program
This program is for youth rowers (rising 6th graders and above) who have completed a learn to row program at Norwalk or a beginner program at another club, but are not yet ready for our high performance camp. Have the basics down, but not ready to race? This is the program for you! Our developmental rowing program is a great way to take your rowing to the next level.
Rising 7th-10th graders
Session 1: May 26th – June 26th – Practice Times split to accommodate school schedules:
May 26th – June 12th…Mondays – Fridays (4 – 6:30pm)
June 15th – June 26th…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)
Session 2: June 29th – July 31st…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)
Summer High Performance Training and Racing
Ready to use the summer to take your rowing to a higher level? This rowing intensive will take you there!
This high performance program is for our current rowers who have been with Norwalk for at least 1 full season, or rowers who have been rowing for at least 6 months at other programs.
We have separate sign-ups for Varsity or older rowers, and for U15/16/Novice
Rising 9-12th graders with previous racing experience (newly graduated seniors welcome!)

June 15th – June 26th…Mondays – Fridays (8:30 – 11am)

Note – athletes are not eligible to participate in rowing or other training activities until registration has been completed, payment made and medical paperwork completed.
