Here are the programs we are offering for rising 6th graders through college rowers. You can register for the specific program near the bottom of the page.

Summer Learn To Row

New to the sport? This program is a great way for your athlete (rising 6th graders and above) to try out the great sport of rowing. Summer is the best time to be on the water, and a great time to give rowing a try! Our experienced coaching team will teach your athlete the basics of the sport, and within one session, they will be ready to join a developmental program later this Summer or this Fall! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. We’ll teach you.

Summer Development Program

This program is for youth rowers (rising 6th graders and above) who have completed a learn to row program at Norwalk or a beginner program at another club, but are not yet ready for our high performance camp. Have the basics down, but not ready to race? This is the program for you! Our developmental rowing program is a great way to take your rowing to the next level.

Summer High Performance Training and Racing

Ready to use the summer to take your rowing to a higher level? This rowing intensive will take you there! Our full day program (8 am – 3 pm) will work on all aspects of the sport, as well as the training and conditioning needed to be a successful crew athlete!
This high performance program is for our current rowers who have been with Norwalk for at least 1 full session, or rowers who have been rowing for at least 6 months at other programs.

Regatta costs are $1,150 per rower. Transportation will be provided.
An overnight hotel will be provided for Independence Day Regatta.

College Summer Membership

For the Collegiate rower who wants to keep up their rowing skills. This is a special membership which allows you access to club rowing equipment not in use by a program during non-program hours (specifically excludes 8a-3p). Unsupervised for the experienced collegiate rower only. No coaching included. Must have been a full- or part-time undergraduate student in Spring 2023.  (May 20-Sept 1)

Payment is required at time of registration (Credit card or PayPal).  Refund Policy

Note – athletes are not eligible to participate in rowing or other training activities until registration has been completed, payment made and medical paperwork completed.
