Adult Intermediate Programs
Our Adult Intermediate programs serve adults who have enough rowing experience that they wouldn’t gain much from a Learn to Row course, but still need or would like more time in a structured coached program. From recent Learn to Row graduates who have a handle on the basics but need to learn how to apply them in a more independent setting, to people returning to the sport after a few years (or decades) away who would like a refresher, to experienced athletes who are new to the club and would like a chance to learn the procedures, people, equipment, and environment at NRRA, intermediate courses are tailored to the people in them and what they are looking to gain.
We welcome and encourage anyone interested in deepening their knowledge about the sport and experiencing our club to come try it with us, regardless of rowing background, speed, or financial means. Our mission is to facilitate access to the sport of rowing and provide opportunities to deepen your knowledge in pursuit of your individual goals, whether those include learning a new skill, getting fit and healthy, finding peace on the water, meeting new people, or winning a race!
