Norwalk River Rowing  provides a great environment for youth! We teach respect, discipline, team work and commitment. All of this while they get fit, fast and have fun.

In the Fall (Sept-Nov) and Spring (Feb-May)…

Development Team (High School – age 14+):
For the NEW rower (Learn-to-Row) or for the athlete who loves rowing but is not ready for the full commitment of Racing Team (Development Experienced). Focus is on improving skill and fitness, but with a lower training intensity.
Our Learn-to-Row programs to get you on the water fast!

Racing Team (High School – age 14+):
Our Competitive Racing Program. For the high school student who enjoys competition. The team travels around the region on weekends to regattas to compete with other high school athletes.


Spring Programs (Feb 26 – May 20)

Race team M-F 4:00-6:30pm, Saturdays 10am-1pm (at 15 Belden Ave facility, once we get back on the water when the weather gets better we will resume 8am-11am practice at the boathouse at 1 Moodys Lane)

Summer Programs

We have all sorts of programs for the High School athlete during the summer months. Whether you are learning to row, or are an experienced competitor, we provide numerous programs to sharpen our skills and strength over the summer. Summer Races for racing team!

Winter Programs

We may be off the water but there is still plenty to do. Continue training to keep up fitness and increase strength. Getting ready for the exciting Spring sprint season!
