Middle School and Early High School
FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS PLEASE CLICK HERE!
Want to Learn to Row? We offer Learn-to-row programs for Middle School students, and for Early High School athletes who are not ready for higher volume programs like our Novice Racing Team.
The program is offered 3 times per week where you learn basic rowing skills. Once you get the knack of it, Middle School athlete may transition onto the Development-Experienced Team. High School athletes can join the Novice Racing Team in the next season.
The Development Experienced Team is a non-competitive rowing program for Middle School and Early High School athletes. Emphasis is on rowing technique, boat handling, physical conditioning, teamwork and fun as well as preparation for The High School Racing Team. Some rowing experience is required (see our Learn-to-Row programs if you are new to the sport). Practices meet 3 days per week.
Come join us on the beautiful Norwalk River!
