Middle School
(entering 6th grade – 8th grade)

During Spring (Apr-Jun) and Fall (Sept – Nov)

Development Team: The development team program is designed to instill the fundamentals of rowing. Focus is on improving skill and fitness but with a lower training intensity than the race team. There will be occasional optional scrimmages to get experience the thrill of racing! (Two week Learn to Row basics required, LTR fees will be applied to the cost of the program).

Coxswain: The coxswain is a driver, motivator and spirit of the team. Without them the rowers would just be going backwards.

Learn to Row: New to rowing? LTR is our introduction to the sport! This is a two week introductory program that will help you to learn the fundamentals of rowing and get ready to join our developmental program. Required if joining NRRA for the first time. (Note: LTR fees will be applied to the cost of the Dev program).

Come join us on the beautiful Norwalk River!
