Middle School and High School
(entering 6th grade and up)
During Spring (Apr-Jun) and Fall (Sept – Nov)
The Development Team is our non-competitive rowing program. Emphasis is on rowing technique, boat handling, physical conditioning, teamwork and fun as well as preparation for the High School Racing Team. Some on-water rowing experience is required.
Want to Learn to Row? We offer Beginner/Learn-to-row programs for Middle School and High School students. You learn basic rowing skills on land and water. You spend the season improving your skill and fitness. With a coaches permission, and if you ready for it, you could transition onto the Development-Experienced Team (extra fees may apply) or even the Racing Team when you have the skill and are ready to make the commitment to the extra training.
Come join us on the beautiful Norwalk River!
