Norwalk River Rowing is going to Club Nationals held on the Cooper River, in Camden, NJ

This year the USrowing Club National Champioships will be run a bit differently.

The events have been split into 2 sessions. Each session will hold its Time Trials/Heats, Semi’s and Finals on consecutive days.

Session 1 –
Wed, July 10th through Fri, July 12th (am)
(plan on arriving on Tuesday aft/eve.)
Events 1 – 37

Session 2
Friday 12th (pm) through Sunday 14th
(Plan on arriving on Thursday evening.)
Events 38 -71

Here are the events in which NRR is entered. Check with coaches to see who is slotted for each event.

Event 11: Mens Junior A 4+
Event 19: Mens Junior B 2x (3 entries)
Event 29: Mens Junior A 1x (3 entries)
Event 34: Mens Junior A 2- (2 entries)
Event 44: Mens Intermediate 4x
Event 46: Mens Junior B 1x (4 entries)
Event 51: Mens Junior B 4+
Event 55: Mens Junior A 2x

It is the responsbility of each athlete and his/her family to arrange accommodations and transport to the venue.

Please refer to the email from the office with a link where parents are pooling information. If you are not sure that your athlete has a bed or a ride, you need to work on that.

Note – for athletes entering their Senior Year – there is a big College Expo that takes place at the end of the event. College crew coaches coming from all over the county looking to recruit athletes. You must register for the event. More information is on the US Rowing site.

Parking Information
Parking will be available on side of North Park Drive, along Cooper River Park.
Be sure to park in a legal parking space, as some sections of North Park Drive are clearly marked as no parking areas. Drivers are responsible for any tickets or fines that result from parking illegally.
Spectators and team vehicles will not be allowed to park on the grass in the park.
