Dear NRR Families and Friends,

On behalf of The Norwalk River Rowing Association, I am writing to share exciting news. We are delighted to inform you that after the Board’s extensive search, we have selected Robin Roscillo, as NRR’s new Executive Director. Robin will be working with us on a part-time basis and when not at off-site meetings, she expects to be at the practice trailer most weekday afternoons from about 1:00 to about 5:00. Robin officially joined us on January 12, 2015.

rroscilloWe are confident that Robin’s leadership experience and strong organizational skills are a great fit for our organization’s current needs. Together with the staff, and Board of Directors, we will continue to spread our mission of “promoting a lifelong passion for the sport of rowing regardless of age or income”, and our goal “to be the preeminent community-based rowing center in the northeast United States.”

Robin is a resident of Wilton, who comes to us with many years of experience with community organizations as a volunteer and most recently, as Development Assistant/Event Coordinator at Wilton Library. She has owned her own consulting company and served as an Efficiency Coach and Speaker. Robin worked as Manager of Legal Administration at Covidien for 16 years, a global healthcare products company in Norwalk..

Robin is honored to have been selected and is eager to get started on learning about our various programs and community initiatives.

I hope you will join the NRR staff and Board of Directors in welcoming Robin to our organization. We look forward to introducing her to each one of you as soon as possible. Meanwhile, we encourage you to stop by the practice trailer and introduce yourself.
