The Erg-a-thon
Just as a walk-a-thon raises money by collecting donations or pledges for walking a set distance, an erg-a-thon allows our rowers, adult and youth, to raise money for completing a set distance on a rowing machine, known as an “erg.”

Here is a little bit more about the Matthew Zucker Memorial Fund

Saturday, November 10th
8 am – 2 pm
Norwalk River Rowing Boathouse
1 Moody’s Lane, Norwalk, CT

*Row 10,000 meters (or more)
Support your team, your club, and your community by erging towards our goal of 1.5 million meters.

Never used an “erg” before? Come down, we’ll teach you and you can add to our overall meters!

*Gather pledges
Solicit donations towards your 10,000m goal from coworkers, family, friends, neighbors, etc using the template attached, or your own email or phone call. (This event is not intended to be an event to raise money directly from membership, but to engage the community at large).
