Summer Camps 2019

Our Summer Weekly Camps are non-competitive rowing programs for Middle School and High School athletes for ALL LEVELS – NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! The emphasis is on rowing technique, boat handling, physical conditioning, teamwork, and fun!

Entering 6th Grade in the Fall and up.
Age: born 2007 or earlier, or by special permission from a coach.
Ability to swim and tread water required.

You can choose from 1 week to 8 weeks of participation, or any number in between. The more weeks you row, the cheaper per week – and the better you get. You choose the weeks when you sign up below.

Athletes will enjoy 4 hour sessions daily which incorporate on-land and water rowing with instruction with warm up exercises and camp activities (bring your own lunch).
In our summer camps, you can go from brand new to experienced rower in a short time! We show you the ropes, and get you into boats quickly.

You know how to row but not yet in high school to join the Racing Team? Come join us on the Norwalk River, as you improve your skills and master the sport. In the summer, we row a bunch in smaller boats – more challenging but the best way to improve and more fun!

Program Times:
Weekly – choose your weeks  through Aug 9

AM Session: M-F  8a-12n  – 4 hours (note time change)
PM Session: M-F  5p – 7p  – 2 hours (new)

Note – athletes are not eligible to participate in rowing or other training activities until registration has been completed, payment (or payment plan) made and medical paperwork completed.
