In case you have not heard of the benefits of rowing, here are just a few:

- Outstanding exercise – rowing is a whole body sport combining cardio and strength

At Norwalk River Rowing, we’d like to introduce you to this great sport. We run Adult Learn to row programs on the water starting late spring through the summer while the sun is still up, and the evening breezes cool the air. No better time to be on the water!
In the Winter, we are happy to introduce you to the sport on our Rowing Machines – ergometers – or ergs. On ergs you learn parts of the stroke, the very same ones you would use on the water. Ergometers are also excellent cardio machines that work the entire body – legs, back, arms and heart! It is an excellent time to get started. If after November but before late spring, look below to sign up for winter training.
