The weather has turned in our favor; It has finally allowed us to get our site ready for Spring. There is important work to be done.

This request is directed to any regular participant at  Norwalk River Rowing, and anyone else that is able to lend some hands to help. 

We can only do this with your help. Many hands make quick and light work.

Who: Any Adult, Youth, and College participants of NRR (Parents and Coaches, too!)

What: Readying the Site, Docks, Ramp, and Launches replaced into the water

When:  7am to 11am

Where: At the NRR site – 1 Moodys Lane, Norwalk

Needed: Dress warmly and for wet weather, everyone needs large brooms and flat/snow shovels

AA Cranes of Bridgeport will be there to lift the heavy components @ 6:30 am.

We have tasks for everyone:

  • Help install the docks, the launches, and the ramp
  • Prep areas for the season
  • Clear icy paths and snow for safety.
  • Shovel snow, sweep and clean the slab from a messy winter
  • Reconfigure white exercise tent for bags and weather room.
  • And more…
