May 11 – June 20, 2015
Norwalk River Rowing Association is gearing up once again for our highly popular Community Challenge rowing experience. This year’s program will run from May 11th to June 20th at NRRA – 1 Moody’s Lane, Norwalk, CT .
The Community Challenge is a 6 week, fun-filled program where you learn to row (or improve your skills if you already row), get fit with this whole-body sport, socialize while team building, and then compete in friendly “Championship Day” races.
The Community Challenge is open to everyone in the area, as well as our own NRRA members. Not only is Community Challenge a fun way to get in shape for the summer, it also raises much needed funds for NRRA. We are the oldest non-profit 501(c)(3) community rowing center in the area, providing scholarships and equipment to local students who otherwise would not be able to afford to row.
So rally your friends, family, and co-workers and get ready to row this summer!

Here’s a video that sums up the experience. Most of the rowers in this video have never rowed before participating in the Community Challenge program.
Exciting, right?!? You CAN do this! It really is great fun working as a team together.
