At a ceremony in mid-November, three Norwalk River Rowing Varsity rowers were signed to Division 1 Rowing programs.
Your patience has paid off!
Working out the Winter Training plan for Adults took a little time while we completed arrangements in a new (to us) location, but we can finally announce….
Norwalk River Rowing finished the season on a strong note at the Head of the Schuylkill, winning six medals. The regatta featured 1,614 boats from 230 clubs and seven countries (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and the USA) in a 2.5 mile race ending down by the storied Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, PA.
RACING TEAM UNI POLICY
We are one team, and it is important that we communicate that to one another and to the public. We also need to recognize that unis are expensive, and not all racers want to purchase multiple unis. Yet we want to encourage racers to have fun. The Club’s uni policy strikes a balance between these competing goals. (more…)

Norwalk River Rowing’s Men’s Youth 4+ powered to a fifth place medal in a field of 85 boats at the 50th Head of the Charles last Sunday. The boat, consisting of Kris Petreski (Junior) at stroke, Greg Bauerfeld (Senior) at 3, Brian Helms (Senior) at 2, Liam McDonough (Junior) at bow and Patrick Lyon (Senior) at cox, has been together and winning in various configurations for some time.
