NRRA announces a new Executive Director

Dear NRR Families and Friends,

On behalf of The Norwalk River Rowing Association, I am writing to share exciting news. We are delighted to inform you that after the Board’s extensive search, we have selected Robin Roscillo, as NRR’s new Executive Director. Robin will be working with us on a part-time basis and when not at off-site meetings, she expects to be at the practice trailer most weekday afternoons from about 1:00 to about 5:00. Racing Team Uniform Policy

RACING TEAM UNI POLICY

We are one team, and it is important that we communicate that to one another and to the public.  We also need to recognize that unis are expensive, and not all racers want to purchase multiple unis.  Yet we want to encourage racers to have fun.  The Club’s uni policy strikes a balance between these competing goals. Norwalk River Rowing’s Men’s Youth 4+ Medals at the Head of the Charles!

NRR_HOCR_5thNorwalk River Rowing’s Men’s Youth 4+ powered to a fifth place medal in a field of 85 boats at the 50th Head of the Charles last Sunday.  The boat, consisting of Kris Petreski (Junior) at stroke, Greg Bauerfeld (Senior) at 3, Brian Helms (Senior) at 2, Liam McDonough (Junior) at bow and Patrick Lyon (Senior) at cox, has been together and winning in various configurations for some time.  (more…)
